Stuart is Head of FIL Platforms and a member of the Global Operating Committee at Fidelity International (FIL).
He leads FIL Platforms, which delivers the capabilities that enable Fidelity International’s global business across Asset Management, Distribution and Group Functions. His remit is to improve how FIL executes for clients, enabling faster, more consistent delivery of client and investment outcomes, with clearer prioritisation, stronger accountability, and reduced duplication across the organisation.
Stuart previously led Global Platform Solutions (GPS), where he was responsible for FIL’s global platform business, supporting plan sponsors, advisers and investors across Workplace Investing, Personal Investing, Advisor Solutions, Global Stock Plan Services and Wealth. Earlier, he led Technology and Enterprise Services through a period of significant digital transformation. This combination of client, business, technology and operational leadership shapes his focus on simplifying delivery, strengthening accountability, and building capabilities that scale across the organisation.
He is a strong advocate for inclusive leadership and building diverse, empowered teams. Stuart serves on FIL’s global DE&I Council, chairs its Early Careers programme, and was the first executive sponsor for Social Mobility at FIL. In 2026, he joins the Advisory Council of Inclusion in Finance (IiF), contributing to industry dialogue on financial services and inclusion.
Before joining Fidelity, Stuart held senior roles at several financial institutions, including JP Morgan. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics and Computing from the University of Kent.
