Agathe Riera is Chief of Staff at Columbia Threadneedle Investments in EMEA, with over 15 years’ experience in the asset management industry. She has held senior legal and compliance roles, advising on strategic initiatives and operational improvements to support sustainable business growth. She is recognised for building trusted, collaborative relationships across the firm and for her commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace culture, currently chairing the firm’s EMEA well‑being workstream.
She holds a Master’s degree from Université Paris II Panthéon‑Assas and an LLM from BPP Law School in London. French and British, Agathe has lived and worked in London for over 20 years.
Agathe is also Treasurer of the charity “Ta Différence”, which supports families facing disability through cultural and artistic initiatives aimed at raising awareness and funds. A committed sports enthusiast, she is a board member of a tennis association serving over 400 members and organising tournaments and community events. Agathe also enjoys skiing and travel, having visited all seven of the New Wonders of the World.
